- Request machine list, monthly capacity, sample lead time, production lead time, MOQ, and defect policy.
- Check whether the supplier can handle private-label bands, hang tags, polybags, barcodes, and carton labels.
- Use inspection criteria for size, stretch, weight, pair matching, loose threads, stains, and packaging count.

A clear sock RFQ should remove ambiguity before price negotiation. Ask for material proof, wash-test expectations, packaging details, and a production sample that matches the final order.
